“Bahías 3 was envisioned as a celebration of Costa Rica at its most vibrant. Nestled between lush tropical landscapes and the Pacific coastline, the home draws inspiration from the country’s traditions, natural beauty, and joyful way of life. Influenced by local craftsmanship, colorful fruit markets, family rituals, and the spirit of exploration that defines the region, every space was designed to evoke a sense of connection, discovery, and belonging. The result is a home that feels distinctly Costa Rican—warm, playful, sophisticated, and deeply connected to place.“

Bahías 3 was conceived as a celebration of Costa Rica—not only its landscapes, but also its traditions, energy, and way of life. Inspired by the colors, flavors, and experiences that define the tropics, the home embraces a spirit of joy, adventure, and connection.

At the heart of the project is a simple idea: magic begins with connection. Connection to nature, to local culture, and to the people with whom we share life’s most meaningful moments. Blurring the boundaries between indoors and out, the home creates an effortless relationship with its surroundings and encourages a lifestyle centered around gathering, discovery, and relaxation.

Local culture became an essential source of inspiration throughout the design process. Handcrafted pieces, artisanal influences, and carefully curated artwork bring authenticity and character to each space, creating a contemporary expression of tropical luxury that feels deeply rooted in place.

A vibrant celebration of Costa Rica’s tropical fruits adds a playful layer to the experience. Inspired by mango, papaya, pitahaya, and the lively atmosphere of local ferias, the interiors embrace moments of color, texture, and artistic expression that infuse the home with warmth, optimism, and personality.
